Ofrenda was established  by brothers Ernesto and Fernando Torres in 2014. Learning the restaurant business from their parents (who've been in the industry for over 30 years), they decided to branch out and become entrepreneurs of their own.

Chef Fernando (graduate of Le Cordon Bleu) started his culinary experience working at BOKA Chicago. There he gained the knowledge and cooking technique to further his passion to create a more contemporary style of mexican food for Ofrenda.

Ernesto, using his expreience in the day-to-day operations of his parents restaurant, applied his knowledge towards the foundation of Ofrenda.
